Quality Control Inspection Technician
A unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join a privately held food manufacturer located in the Mid-Atlantic region.  This position will lead Food Safety and Quality programs. This includes leading implementation and on-going program management/oversight of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certification. Develop and execute SQF plans to achieve/maintain SQF Certification at the facility and to meet all company requirements related to quality and food safety programs. Train personnel and maintain training records for critical food safety and quality requirements. Oversee monitoring, verification, and validation activities to ensure that all products leaving the facility(s) meet company Food Safety and Quality standards.
 The Quality Control Manager must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, with knowledge of Access a plus. Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communications skills, and will be required to prepare reports, create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, specifications, manuals of procedures, etc.Â
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the area of food science or technology, and a minimum of 3 years successful QA Management experience. HACCP certification will be required.
