Quality Assurance Associate-Food and Beverage

Our client is one of the area leaders in the Food and Beverage industry.  There is an immediate opportunity available as a Quality Associate supporting their on-going manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: -Responsible for food safety and all product testing and record keeping. Responsible for assuring finished product meets customer specifications.  -Principal duties and responsibilities:  -Product testing, Quality Audits, Microbiological Testing  -Computer Data Entry and Maintenance. Daily Samples Release product for shipment.  -Test Raw ingredients as required; Resample Totes.  -Must have experience with GMP's, HACCP's good housekeeping and safety rules and regulations. Requirements: -A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related science. -The Associate must understand the basic principles of instrumental and analytical techniques and familiar with GMP’s, HACCP’s, OSHA, and FDA rules and regulations.   -He or she must have a good understanding in math and Microsoft applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Word), have excellent writing and communication skills, and must be able to effectively communicate within team frameworks.   -He or she must be decisive, resourceful, and possess excellent organizational skills.  -In addition, this individual must be able to work with regulatory personnel and the public at large.   Our Offering:  We recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset.  In addition to becoming a valued member of our team, we offer a very competitive compensation package.  We offer a great opportunity for personal and professional growth coupled with uncapped earning potential.  We look forward to hearing from you.  Opportunities are endless!
