Operations Team Leader at Fortune 100 Food Manufacturer

A highly recognized and respected Food Manufacturing organization is looking for an Operations Team Leader to join their successful team.  S/He will be responsible for the daily production and work activity of approximately 35 hourly employees in a non-union environment and will report to the Operations Manager.  The Operations Team Leader should excel in managing a fast-paced, manufacturing work environment where 75% of the essential job duties are performed on the plant floor.   The Operations Team Leader will be responsible for: Assigning work duties and monitoring the efficiency of daily production including safety, sanitation, cost, customer service, and system performance Ensuring the utilization of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and champion an commitment to Total Employee Involvement (TEI) Coaching and developing employees and promote a team environment Ensuring communication channels exist on shift to deliver organizational and business updates, communicate program and policy changes, and drive broader business initiatives to the shift level.    The qualified Operations Team Leader will have strong communication and relationship-building skills along with a demonstrated record of performance and success in a manufacturing leadership role.  A Bachelor’s degree is required along with at least 3-5 years work experience.  Also highly desirable, is experience with CI, TPM, or Six Sigma. A comprehensive benefits package as well as the ability to move into increased leadership roles are available to the qualified Operations Team Leader. Please email your resume to Hilton@mriraleigh.com to be considered for this outstanding opportunity.
