Mechanical Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor

Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor to work in our College Point manufacturing center.

 

Major Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of mechanical systems, equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and systems. Ability to assist in planning and execution of mechanical and electrical Best Practice goals. Familiar concepts, practices, and procedures of Mechanical Engineering field. Ability to develop and execute plant projects. A wide degree of creativity required Development of instrumental training for the manufacturing plant mechanics and electricians. Manage and control maintenance labor & expense budgets.

 

Requirements: Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering field or related area. Experience with AB (Allen Bradley electrical equipment), PLCs, panel drives, and controls in a Manufacturing environment. Strong inter-personal and leadership skills.
