Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with a production facility in Fresno, CA, Maverick Brands is the producer and provider of fresh and better for you beverages in the USA. This is an opportunity to join a new, exciting, fun and aggressive manufacturing and distribution organization. The position: Manager of Inventory & Logistics will report directly to the V.P. of Procurement. The job responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

 

Position Detail:

 

·        Inventory Management: Manage all Finished Goods Inventory: product, labels, packaging and ancillary materials.

 

·        Inventory & Production Planning: Work with Purchasing & Sales to project inventory needs and plan production accordingly. Build demand / inventory planning and reporting systems.

·        Serve as a business partner to the VP Procurement and the senior leadership team of manufacturing facilities. Act as liaison to influence and partner with leaders both at the corporate and plant level.

·        Facilitate outbound shipping of finished goods inventory, insuring orders are fulfilled with 100% accuracy and necessary supply is on hand to facilitate orders without excess waste.

·        Logistics: Create and Manage outbound refrigerated logistics network for warehouse delivery programs.

·        Participate in general quality control program to insure product integrity from sourcing through to shipping.

·        Actively contribute to Maverick’s achievement of short-term and long-term     growth targets.

 Qualifications:

 

·        Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree. Strong with math and numbers.

·        Previous Experience in inventory management and related shipping and warehousing issues. Background and training in demand planning and inventory forecasting tools.

·        Need to be resourceful and be able to think on ones feet with attention to detail in a fast past environment.

·        The ability to influence and be a partner with senior management, line managers, and functional managers. The ability to build a team-orientation with the staff.

·        Excellent general management and administration skills, encompassing resource planning, product management and the ability to handle training, organizational design, staffing, and resource allocation.
