Ensure maintenance of DSD vehicles and fleet comply with DOT requirements and are always in good safe operating condition Manage the capital plan for repair and replacement of vehicles and equipment Analyze variances to goals and develop appropriate corrective actions/countermeasures. Partner with Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of products. Partner with Sales on order fulfillment  and addressing complaints Partner with Human Resources on employee recruitment, retention and employee welfare programs. Manage safety initiatives within department and work proactively to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Manage performance levels of supervisory and unionized hourly personnel of department. Ensure Sara Lee Global Business Practices are followed throughout department and are practiced by all employees. BS degree required; logistics, supply chain, transportation focus a plus 5+ year’s management experience in a distribution environment preferred Experience with applying the tools of LEAN and Six Sigma for continuous improvement a plus Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office and ERP systemsAn Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
