Manager Continuous Improvement

Leads the planning and implementation of specialized practices for manufacturing processes. The employee will be responsible for developing standards and implementing Daily Operations processes across multiple plants in a defined geographical region.Position Responsibilities Is the Daily Operations implementation resource for a specific region. Coach plant resources in Daily Operations improvement methodology in a consistent manner Development and the coordination of a corporate Autonomous Maintenance plan (3-year plan) and its linkage into each plant's Autonomous Maintenance Plan. This is to include the advancement of an AM program through all 7 steps. Monitors, tracks and reports on the performance of each AM Team on a Master Plan Provide training and education in CPS principles Is the technical resource for that specific region in regard to all Daily Operations processes. Will lead Kaizen Events / teams as necessary for Daily Operations processes Facilitates the integration of all ConAgra Performance System Pillars. Is the "process owner" for one or more critical improvement processes. Ie. 5S, Centerlining, Review and Response, Reliability Improvement Plans, Autonomous Maintenance Is the go to resource for One Con Agra way for each process that they own. Continuously improves their system/process Trains & qualifies resources for their processes Lead process ownership team in which to build best practices and training processes Track implementation plan & qualification of processes across their region and coordinates priorities with the CPS Platform Lead for their regionPosition Qualifications Plant line operations experience required. 3+ years of experience with T.P.M. methodologies preferred including JIPM. Successful completion of AM program certification Steps 1-3 required. Demonstrated success influencing change within an organization from Plant Manager to Line Employee. Ability to "champion" and lead process implementation required. Good presentation and facilitation skills including communication with all levels in an organization required. Good attention to detail and tolerance for repetition. Travel 60-70% required.
