Position: Food Product Development Technologist

Position Summary: Responsible for spearheading new product development projects for multi-channel markets, and enhancing existing product lines.

Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with and support the activities of the Sales and Marketing teams, providing market research, client interface, and culinary trade show involvement.Support the process of developing new kitchen product concepts/prototypes in preparation for market introductionDevelop process and formula adjustments for product manufacturingConduct laboratory experiments for quality/cost improvement of existing products by means of new technologies, ingredients, or processesDevelop bench top samples of new products according to cost and sensory quidelinesSupport, coordinate with Quality Assurance Department

Qualifications:

Â· B.S. degree in Food Science, Biology or related Science/Engineering Field

Â· Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related experience in a similar position in the food industry

Â· Experience in project management, commitment to completion of pilot runs
