Our client, a food processing manufacturer,  is seeking a qualified professional to support their operations in the Lafayette, IN area.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess:2+ years' related experiencePractical understanding of trouble shooting techniques and processes and the ability to apply them quicklyPrimarily knowledge for electrical systems and secondary understand of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsAbility to understand and troubleshoot functioning control logic codeAbility to read and understand technical drawingsAbility to understand electrical and control systems:Includes electrical distribution systems with 110V 1Ø, 480V 3Ø, 277V 1Ø, Includes PLC systems: AB SLC 500 family, AB PLC 5 family, AB Control Logic family, AB compact logic family, Omron CV processors, Omron C+ processors, Siemens S7 class processorIncludes HMI systems: AB Panelview, AB Panelview plus and Siemens OP familyAbility to understand data network systems:Understand, in general aspects, standard network protocols including RS232, RS422, RS485, TCP-IP, 802.11x, DH485, DH+, Control Net and ProfibusUnderstand, in general aspects, standard network infrastructure including copper bases system, wireless systems and fiber optic systemsAbility to set and achieve professional goals for individual and departmental improvementAbility to hold electrical and mechanical personnel responsible for department obligations and goalsAbility to quickly and effectively describe technical information to non-technical personnelAbility to help execute and give guidance for preventive and predicative maintenance systemsUnderstanding of food process systemsUnderstanding of food regulations as they apply to maintenance activitiesBachelor's Degree (preferred, not required) in Organization, Leadership and Supervision or Certified ElectricianProficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook



The position offers a competitive compensation of $50K - $55K plus bonus opportunities, and overtime totaling approximately $70K+
