Position Description:

Position Overview:As Johnsonville’s Director of Strategic Insights & Analytics, you will lead the team responsible for providing Best-In-Class insights and business analysis for both the Marketing and Sales Team. In addition, you will lead all relationships with research partners across both syndicated data suppliers (Nielsen, SPECTRA, IRI, MVI, Dunnhumby, etc.) and primary consumer research suppliers. Why this a great job for someone who wants to be great.You get to:• Be part of the sales and marketing leadership team with responsibility for all business analytics• Use your expertise to enhance our category management program so we are viewed by our customers as the experts within our categories• Ensure that Johnsonville is doing best in class consumer research that drives action by the sales and marketing teams• Develop and maintain relationships with key syndicated and primary research vendors• Ensure that Johnsonville has the very best Shopper Insights• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team in developing strategic consumer and customer plans• Lead a team of five analysts, providing them with coaching that enables them to become great• Coach our consumer marketing research director Qualifications:What You Bring To The Job• 7-10 years of category management, marketing, or consumer research experience in consumer packaged goods• Strong understanding and proven application of marketing research and category management concepts• Proven track record of leading and developing people• Proven track record of delivering results• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format• A high degree of proficiency in relevant computer technologies• Creative and persistent problem-solving abilities and independent thinking• High degree of professionalism and sound business judgment• Highly motivated and flexible--able to take initiative, speak up to new ideas and drive change where needed• Ability to partner with customers and act as a consultant
