About Us: This Market was originally opened in the San Fernando Valley in 1944.   The store opened with only five employees.  The business grew through the founder and the employees hard work. They were all dedicated to customer service, traditional Mexican foods and high product quality.  Today we have stores in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.  Most of our stores have full service supermarkets with Panaderia, Tortilleria, Carniceria, and  Hot and prepared food departments.  We are building our management team for grow.  This is a key position reporting directly to the owners.

Job Description: An effective and highly motivated, self-starter with proven results in a growth initiative.

Responsibilities: Full charge of department at a district, regional or corporate level.  Meet goals and ready company for growth. Continuous Improvement of processes, systems and policies as it relates to the department Manage department with the right staff, and control labor Increase Customer loyalty through quality, Customer Service, innovative products and Value. P & L responsibility

Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent.  The ideal candidate will have experience in the Mexican Food industry.  Experience in a grocery store at a regional or district level with buyer responsibility. Experience with multi location restaurants, or restaurant chain.  Combined knowledge of Tortillerias, Panaderias, and Hot foods Departments a big plus. Proven community involvement.  +Experience dealing with vendors, government agencies, and legal compliance. Excellent computer skills, with statistical analysis, spreadsheets, research, training.   Bilingual, Spanish / English.
