Demand Planner

Generates forecasts for assigned product categories using inputs from all available sources. Interacts and communicates with sales, marketing, finance, purchasing, supply planning and other departments as appropriate to obtain current and accurate information. Develops future demand plans that drive supply chain planning processes.Position Responsibilities Aid in the communication flow of impacts to forecast and disseminate information. Monitor demand on a daily basis and communicate updated projections. Develop/maintain weekly forum with Product Supply. Maintain the accuracy of the database and play integral role in realignment activity. Aid in the development/maintainence of interim forecast process. Report on overall forecast accuracy and assist in efforts for continuous improvement. Achieve/maintain company super-user status for forecasting software application. Make appropriate recommendations for enhancements. Assist in the documentation efforts for all new/existing processesPosition Qualifications Bachelors degree in logistics, statistics, business or other mathmatically related fields.
