Commodity or Sourcing Manager

Our client is a multibillion-dollar food company with employees worldwide. Based in Minnesota, the company sells food products through a number of channels, including grocery-stores, online, and in the foodservice industry. Their products are used by customers’ through out the world.  Growth is integral to their operation; the culture is diverse, and they offer a tremendous place to work where career growth is encouraged.  Commodity or Sourcing Manager for a food manufacturer  The Sourcing Manager will, as the category expert, develop sourcing strategies including supplier management; forecast and track market conditions and costs while interfacing internally to insure departmental objectives are met.  Leads continuous improvement projects including supplier performance, cost savings, and quality enhancements. Utilizes commodity risk management tools and processes to optimize commodity purchases. REQUIREMENTS  Must have proven experience as a Sourcing or Commodity Manager for a food manufacturer.
