Chef (NE)

Sodexo is seeking an hourly Chef to oversee a small but busy P&L corporate services division account with a building population of 420. Duties include cash management, overseeing self serve concepts of deli, pizza, salad bar and soups. This position supports a 50 hour work week. Regular work week is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend activities. The ideal candidate will support financial reporting, UFS, payroll and use Instill for purchasing. Although this is an hourly position, the successful candidate is eligible for the full management benefit package. Located right off of interstate 276 and 12 miles from Philadelphia, PA. Position Summary: Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to GM.
