CRM Architect / Developer
Lead Architect/Developer responsibilities include: Providing the leadership and overall direction for Sodexo's SalesLogix based Global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications development team. Partner with the Sr. Business Analyst to assess emerging customer requirements. Define, develop, document and communicate technical requirements for current and next generation systems through detailed Technical Specifications, for execution by the CRM team, from Functional and Business Requirements documents. Manage and assist the team and select third party vendors in the custom development of Sodexo specific applications utilizing SalesLogix specific and third party tools. Evaluate vendor proposals for hardware, software and technical services as well as organize and manage multiple development projects from inception to completion. Review and evaluate work of subordinate staff and contribute to performance reports. Must be able to travel and attend global, divisional and vendor meetings. Training/Knowledge/Skills Required: B.A. or B.S. in MIS, Computer Science or related field / discipline. 5-7 years of Application Development experience. Candidate must have a broad knowledge and understanding of technology options, technology platforms, design techniques and approaches across CRM applications, as well as a proven track record of providing quality solutions to address diverse business requirements. Must have 4 plus years experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server 2000/2005 or Oracle (10g or newer). Experience in SalesLogix application development using SalesLogix Architect is highly preferred but not required. Seeking experience with the development of Web Based applications for the Internet / Intranet. Proven leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and independently in a fast paced environment. Experience working with senior management and report out on information systems planning and implementation. Must be a team player and willing to work with internal and external resources with the ability to assign responsibilities and lead others. Must be detail oriented with good planning and project oriented skills. Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. ~cb~ Position Summary:Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. Acts independently under general direction. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. May act as expert in business or functional area. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. May be responsible for multiple phases of a project. May have duties instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications systems analysis and programming personnel.
