Business Development Analyst - Country Fresh
The Business Development analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of Category Development for the Country Fresh Division, with the intent to develop opportunities for volume and profit growth for our customers and the Division. Maintain a complete knowledge of the customer’s goals, measures, strategies, operations, consumer markets and competition; Act as Category Captain at Country Fresh customers for all milk, ice cream and culture plan-o-grams; Identify product and customer opportunities to grow dairy and ice cream volume and/or profit; Provide specialized consulting and training to the sales team in the proper use of Category Management capabilities to develop opportunities for volume and profit growth; Develop fact-based selling stories for key initiatives; Maintain images for plan-o-grams for customer; Support the creation and delivery of customer top-to-top presentations; Provide monthly ice cream and dairy reports for General Manager and Sales Manager; Gather I.R.I. data for sales team and customer; Produce reports from S.D.W. for sales team and office personnel; Performs similar duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Requirements: Strong leadership and problem solving skills; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SDW (Sales Data Warehouse) and IRI software; Bachelor’s degree preferred (preference for business degree); Five years previous experience in food industry marketing.
