Bilingual Human Resources Representative

 MISSION FOODSA leader of Mexican Food Products has an immediate opening for an experienced, high energy Bilingual Human Resources Representative for their Fresno, CA Plant. The overall Human Resources Representative is to supervise the Human Resources function in the plant, which includes, but is not limited to recruiting, hiring, training, benefit administration, employee relations, and compliance with state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:   Supervises and/or monitors employee data files  Recruits, prescreens, interviews and performs reference checks for all hourly candidates  Monitors visually activities in plant to ensure Company values are maintained  Conducts new hire orientation and other employee training  Maintains employee staffing reports  Advises supervisors on Company policies, procedures and federal/state laws  Supervises and/or processes changes to employee information including, but not limited to terminations, new hires, vacation, leave of absence, I-9, transfers, verification of employment, reports and manpower list  Administers employee benefits program (e.g. Health Insurance, etc.)  Participates on plant safety team and other plant teams as assigned  Supervises, maintains and updates the HRIS systems (e.g. Kronos, Ceridian, SAP, etc.)  Ensures compliance with all federal, local, state laws, and company policies and procedures.  Participates on employee events planning committee  Administers leave of absences, rideshare, uniform, and employee incentive programsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTSü Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or University; or 3 to 5 years Human Resources experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceü Three to five years supervisory experience preferable in Human Resources ü Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memosü Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization ü Intermediate math skills- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsü Excellent problem solving skillsü Computer literacy- Experience with KRONOS and SAP (preferred)ü Bilingual English/Spanish Required– Ability to read, write and speak in both Spanish and English. Mission Foods offers a competitive package of salary, benefits and a promising career path.
