Job Description Apprentice Production Line Mechanics - 1st and 2nd shift DELI EXPRESS – The #1 selling sandwich brand in convenience stores nationwide! Eden Prairie Corporate Office/Production Facility is looking for experienced or apprentice level Production Line Mechanics. First shift is 6:30 am to 3:30 pm and second shift is 3:30 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday. The Maintenance Mechanic positions will efficiently set up, tear down and maintain the production line equipment to minimize downtime and allow for efficient production. Training is available for individuals with some mechanical aptitude. RESPONSIBILITIES:* Have adequate tools on-hand to install and maintain equipment.* During your shift you are responsible for the downtime of the equipment.* Complete routine maintenance cost effectively and on time per the Preventative Maintenance program.  * Assist Team members in keeping production area clean, sanitized and organized and product quality at a high level.* Pull samples every two hours from the line to make sure they are adequately sealed and labeled properly.* Maintain and control the parts inventory in such a manner that production will be able to continue uninterrupted. REQUIREMENTS:• Previous maintenance technician experience is preferred.• Previous food environment experience.• Packaging and slicing equipment experience (Multivac, Toby.)• Must be able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day and work in cold conditions. COMPANY BENEFITS:This is an hourly position; salary will be dependent on experience.Medical, Dental, Life Insurances.401k Plan with a company match after 1 year.Flexible Spending Accounts.Short-Term Disability Insurance.Paid Time Off/Vacation.Paid Holidays.  Please apply in person at Deli Express, 16101 West 78th Street, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
