Opportunity
As a Product Manager, the successful candidate will develop and execute marketing plans for the Value Added Fresh Food Products portfolio and will work with fresh food perishable products, which require the ability to manage the supply chain and perishable inventory.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and communicate brand marketing plans to meet approved volume and profit objectives and to accomplish long-term strategic growth. These plans include advertising, promotion, and pricing components. Develop and introduce new product and line extension opportunities. Work closely with other members of Marketing and various functional representatives such as Research & Development, Operations, Accounting, Purchasing, Consumer Insights, Foodservice and Sales to assure coordination of projects. Work with advertising agency to develop and implement advertising plans and sales training materials for assigned products. Monitor product integrity and quality standards to assure that all conform to requirements. Work closely with sales and retail customers.
Qualifications and CapabilitiesBachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail branded marketing or sales related experience. Must have experience with perishable food product sales and/or marketing. Well developed written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in ACNielsen data a plusStrong cross-functional team leadership skills and experience.Ability to travel approximately 30% of the timeMust be a U.S. Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have a valid work visa.
