eBusiness Project Manager

  Rydex Investments, a leading financial services firm located in Rockville, MD, has an immediate opening for a eBusiness Project Manager.  The eBusiness Project Manager is a marketing resource working in a cross-functional team environment.  The position is responsible for the following:   Coordinating the development of eBusiness projects that support business objectives of firm and business unit in cooperation with business team, IT, and content and design teams.  Developing and executing test plans for implementing new media and Web capabilities. Working with internal and external content providers, ensuring integration of new content and updating to existing web sites. Managing firm’s direct email efforts, anti-SPAM policy and third party email vendor relationship in addition to managing the firms RSS Program. Providing support to business units, clients and users in relationship to completed projects, Web and new media projects. Managing on-going web search engine optimization, search engine, marketing and other online marketing program efforts.   Qualifications: This is a business position that requires an understanding on Internet and new media technologies, understanding of web site design, web usability and maintenance. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication. Proved analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 5-10 plus years Internet based and/or eMarketing experience, preferably as a Producer or Marketing Project Manager or eMarketing Project Manager. Proficient in standard project management methodologies including development and management of complex project plans involving cross-departmental teams. Knowledge and/or experience in Scrum Project Management Methodology and/or Agile Software Development Methodology. Proficient in MS-Office Suite, MS Project and Adobe Macromedia tools. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java and other web based technologies. Experience in the financial services industry and eBusiness/eCommerce is preferred.  Experience in a regulated industry working with a compliance department/organization. BA/BS required.  Master's degree in Marketing or eBusiness/eCommerce preferred. Capable of operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, balancing the requirements of multiple, independent constituencies, overcoming obstacles and developing solutions to problems.  Job Code : 396 Division/Department : Rydex Investments
