Description:The role of the Marketing Department is to plan and coordinate the development, delivery, and communication of ING DIRECT's financial products and services to ensure Brand awareness, profitability and competitiveness. In addition, the Marketing Department develops marketing, advertising, and public relations strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.The Website Producer will oversee the coordination of website development requests from Marketing, Sales and IT. The Website Producer will be responsible for ensuring that these changes adhere to Brand tone and personality. The ING DIRECT websites are ingdirect.com, Planet Orange (orangekids.com) and the Financial Advisor Site. The Producer will take a proactive lead in helping enhance these websites to improve the Customer experience. The Producer will also be responsible for ensuring the usability of the websites remains simple by applying information attained from Customers, research and/or statistics, and will suggest enhancements and efficiencies, when appropriate.Essential Functions:*Manage website updates and improvements through internal coordination with IT development, business owners and Quality Assurance teams.*Help to ensure optimum website usability and simplicity for Customers.*Conduct competitive research and identify key opportunities and threats.*Analyze web measurement data to make recommendations and implement improvements resulting from research findings.*Review website content on a quarterly basis.*Manage Marketing weekly reports.*Monitor changes and communicate them to the critical users*Create mockups for approval*Maintain a test environment for focus groups/feedback html skillsQualifications:Education and/or Certifications:*A bachelor's degree is preferred*A fundamental understanding of marketing and branding.*A basic knowledge of HTML, website technologies, web navigation, user interaction and content development.*Knowledge of Windows XP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and basic computer functions.*Great multi-tasker with strong project management skills.*Superior conceptual, analytical, quantitative and technical skills.*Resourceful, innovative creative thinker able to think out of the box.*Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills.*Comfortable being very hands-on.
