Position Description:Opportunity for an International Controller who will be key member of fast-paced, dynamic team that supports Genworth Financial's International businesses. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:Key Responsibilities:- Evaluating fairness and accuracy of financial statements and disclosures including public filings for segment- Ensuring assets are effectively safe-guarded and processes exist to evaluate and address concerns across the world- Proactive management of technical accounting - new and emerging guidance, M&A and other deal structures- Managing Business issues and developments- Project management and issue resolution- Communicating controllership concerns and impact to stakeholders- Working on a cross-functional basis with various functions- Reviewing and Sign-off on SEC financial statements- Ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable laws and regulations and SOX 404- Interfacing with technology group to reduce/eliminate system disconnects and improve processesBasic:- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance- CPA Certification- >10 years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Finance with adequate Technical Experience- Strong organizational skills, accurate and detail-oriented- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills- High level of integrity- Self starter with excellent project and people management skills- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment- Excellent team player- Ability to motivate team- Experience working in a matrix environment- Excellent PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookPreferred:- Master of Business Administration or Master of Science Degree in Business, Finance or Economics- International experience- Mortgage Insurance experience Additional Information Reference Code:   81241Status:   Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:   Accounting/Finance/Insurance Send this Job to a FriendSee all Company opportunities
