VP External Reporting

DavidWayneAssociates is an executive search firm that specializes in accounting and financial professionals. We have been engaged by our client to find a top-tiered VP of External Reporting to manage the Company's external financial reporting function. This is highly visible position, with direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

*  Manage the development, preparation, review and distribution of the Company's quarterly and annual financial reports to external stakeholders

*  Build and maintain a financial reporting infrastructure that can fulfill [future] periodic SEC reporting requirements on Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form 8-K, etc.

*  Take leadership role in advancing the financial reporting requirements across the Company.

*  Actively participate in the Company's bond offerings and SEC registration processes.

*  Serve as a principal point of contact with external auditors with respect to the Company's unaudited and audited financial statements. 

* Respond to inquiries from internal parties such as internal audit, management and subsidiary personnel.

*  Participate in PeopleSoft Financials decision making and support functions as appropriate.

*  Support and participate in the Company's SOX initiatives.

 

Position Requirements:

* BS in Accounting

* 8+ years of relevant experience

* Certified Public Accountant

*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

*Excellent organizational, oral and written communication and quantitative skills
