Location: boston, MA 02101Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Hudson is looking for an Unix Engineer who is hands on person with strong communication, troubleshooting, Unix, and WebSphere skills.Scripting, programming, LDAP, SonicMQ, Siteminder, Apache, network troubleshooting, and project management skills would all be considered a plus.The person will be working with a highly skilled team and learning new technologies and enhancing his or her skill.Candidates who are seeking for an opportunity with a reputed financial services firm should definitely apply for this position.This is a place where candidates skill can be enhanced and market value can be increased.This opportunity has a very good potential to go contract to permanent.Title: Sr. Unix EngineerJob Description: Unix Engineer required to install, configure, manage and support systems software and middleware within the Unix server production environment. This environment consists of approximately 200 central Solaris / AIX / Red Hat Linux / Win2K servers. These servers run a variety of software including Veritas Suite, Apache, WebSphere, Siteminder, SonicMQ, LDAP. These servers serve over 20 investment management applications developed in house and used by hundreds of investors worldwide daily. New system software and middleware deployments are typically done 3 to 6 times per month.
