This Client develops and produces blood recovery systems that automate the collection of blood products from donors. These systems permit blood banks to collect and process whole blood, taking only the components, such as plasma or red blood cells, that they might need. The Client also makes systems that collect and re-infuse a patient’s own blood during surgery. They also sell information management software and provide consulting service to blood banks and hospitals. They are seeking the best people to join their dynamic family of committed employees. They have identified the need to add a SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST who will perform detailed corporate-level financial analysis as well as financial modeling on business development activity.



JOB DESCRIPTION

The SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST will:

* Provide senior management with insightful analysis of operating results including variance analysis to various metrics
* Lead the development of corporate strategy including planning and financial models of various business scenarios
* Support business development activity from a financial modeling standpoint
* Model the impact of foreign exchange and hedging on the corporate P&L
* Assist in the development, analysis, and roll out of annual operating budgets
* Complete special projects such as business development support, customer specific analysis, product line analysis and requests as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS

The SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYSIS will have:

* BA or BS – Finance or Accounting preferred; MBA
* 8+ years of financial/accounting experience
* Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Planning and Brio preferred
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions
* Ability to serve in a leadership capacity, as required
* High level of analytical and quantitative skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with senior financial and non-financial management
* Residency in Greater Boston Area
