Genesis Healthcare in Kennett Square, PA is looking for a full time, Accounts Receivable Specialist (non-Government Collections).
Genesis HealthCare operates more than 200 skilled nursing centers in 13 states, and offers rehabilitation services to nearly 1,000 health care facilities in 23 states.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Achieves resolution on claims for payment from third party payer sources utilizing established policies and procedures.
2. Follows up on any/all unpaid claims using established criteria, maintains records, files, and logs of claim status as directed.
3. Interacts with Third Party Payers as required to obtain payment for pending or rejected claims, refers problem or unpaid claims to Supervisor in accordance with policy and procedures for follow up and review, participates in projects when requested.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Two or more years experience in healthcare third party billing and collections or comparable experience recommended.
Experience with personal computers and healthcare billing software.
High School Diploma required.
