Position Description:The Portfolio Services team is responsible for timely and accurate execution of all trade instruction on client accounts. This includes new account funding, additional contributions, withdrawals, model changes, etc. In addition, Portfolio Services executes strategist strategic and tactical model changes on an ongoing basis through the year. This generally involves re-balancing a large number of accounts simultaneously. Portfolio Services group functions also include daily reconciliation of accounts and managing the trade claim/correction process. Portfolio Services also monitors a number of daily data extracts from the APL trading system that are then loaded to our internal web-site to ensure our website is accurately reflecting all client activity and performance.The Portfolio Services group is also responsible for producing, validating, and collation of the quarterly performance reports that are then distributed to every client. Portfolio Services plays a key role producing, auditing, and reporting monthly/quarterly performance numbers that are utilized resources on our website and in numerous marketing pieces. Responsibilities include:• Ensuring separate account managers are executing trade instruction in timely manner• Confirm trading activity in the billing system• Daily account reconciliation• Maintain strategist model allocations• Proactively communicate with internal and external groups on issues and issue resolution• Continually develop a more comprehensive understanding of the Genworth program• Actively research and link new account funding• Actively monitor account suspensions/account restrictions• Continually assess current operating procedures to find process improvement opportunities, take part in ongoing efficiency projects• Facilitate allocation instruction to custodians involving cash and in-kind securities• Monitor aged outstanding actions for timely resolution• Create and implement procedures that minimize Portfolio Services trade claim risk• Assist in production of Quarterly Performance Reports for each clientBasic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree required• 1 - 2 years financial services industry experience a plus• Series 7 requiredPreferred Qualifications:• Must be detail oriented• Time Management skills required• Strong Communication skills a must• Must be comfortable exercising judgment, evaluating a situation and making a decision• Critical Thinking Skills a must• Multi-tasking skills required• Excel skills required • Security APL experience big plus Additional Information Reference Code:   81206Status:   Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:   Customer Support/Client Care Send this Job to a FriendSee all Company opportunities
