Trustee Services Supervisor

Join Vanguard as a Trustee Services Supervisor, where you'll manage a staff of processing or communication associates responsible for client requests within our Institutional Asset Management business unit. As a Trustee Services Supervisor you will:
- Lead and supervise a team of processing or communication associates: hire, set goals and standards, train and mentor, evaluate performance, and oversee daily operations.
- Manage and prioritize workflows to ensure that daily department goals are met.
- Regularly analyze and report on unit performance, and present results at department meetings.
- Participate in business planning and manage resources according to plan.
- Identify trends, suggest work flow and operational improvements, and provide analysis/feedback to management.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to ensure that client issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
- Conduct regular conference calls with clients' operational contacts to introduce new services, resolve issues or enhance trading methods.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting.
- Minimum of three years' related work experience.
- Minimum of one year of project management and/or supervisory experience.
- Two years of institutional trust experience preferred
- Two years of defined benefits experience preferred
- Knowledge of retirement plans and ERISA regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
