Treasury Analyst

The individual will be a Back-up to the various cash desks at WU. This will require determining funding requirements, performing cash management processes and daily reconciliation to settle with agents, vendors, and other clients. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for initiating or approving all types of electronic payments including international payments under strict internal/external time deadlines. The individual will provide the necessary daily, weekly and monthly reporting on bank balances, and cash flow forecasts. The incumbent will be responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements.   Key Responsibilities: Perform Treasury functions including agent settlement and corporate cash management for both international and domestic entities. Set up banking for various agents through following company policies and procedures. Execute electronic payments for all marketing wires including both domestic and international vendors. One to three years experience in Cash Management, Treasury Workstation, Fed Wire & ACH, Forecasting and Account Analysis. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CTP/CCM preferred but not required. Fluency in Spanish desired. Familiarity with accounting standards, procedures and policies. Ability to work in multi-tasking and challenging environment. Ability to work in team environment to gain cooperation, commitment, and trust of others. Applies critical thinking and logic in problem solving. Anticipates changes in banking regulatory environments and proactively develops and implements process changes accordingly.
