Brief Description: The person in this position will design, coordinate and conduct training sessions and seminars for lending personnel primarily to support loan processors and underwriters. Key responsibilities include: developing training materials, training scripts and class schedules; conducting group training sessions (in-person, and Web Ex) on lending processes and applications; developing communications materials for branch offices; conducting surveys and focus groups and interfacing with loan teams to collect feedback. Incumbent will be responsible for documentation management and development and charged with keeping lending origination and lending services procedures accurate and up to date. Adapt to and perform all changes in the job as directed by managementJob Responsibilities: Design, coordinate and conduct training sessions and seminars for lending personnelConduct needs analysis to isolate and identify the training needs for lending personnel and write proposals as well as design and implement programs to meet these needs. Ensure programs support all levels and various delivery approaches including classroom and online.Identify origination system and other system training needs and work with team leads, focusing on key business needs and issues.Modify training materials as applications are enhanced, and coordinate and conduct the rollout training with lending personnel.Assist in identifying and coordinating participation in outside training as well as online courses in ML University that support key business functionality.Formulate reports on user training attendance and training feedback as well as evaluate performance of training participants and designing and managing remedial programs when needed.Coordinate critical information exchange between lending services and loan teams. Assist in brokering agreement between origination and other lending areas with a discerning understanding of how processors and other areas function and the respective challenges they face.Responsibilities include the following: ¨ adhering to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) ¨ adhering to Bank policies and procedures, ¨ completing required training, ¨ identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the AML Officer, and ¨ knowing and verifying the identity of any customer(s) that enters into a relationship with the Bank.Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Must be able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. Experience in developing teaching materials such a handbooks, user guides, online tutorials and self-help reference manuals; Proficient user of Microsoft office tools including MS Access and Excel as well as and various lending applications. Preferred skills and abilities: Undergraduate degree preferred. Five years of experience in a corporate environment, preferably lending origination or underwriting areas. Training or teaching experience strongly preferred. Outstanding communication, writing and presentation skills. Natural educator, organizer, facilitator and public speaker, comfortable moderating large groups. Creativity coupled with outstanding personal skills and ability to build relationships with employees and management staff. Ability to learn new systems and computer tools and teach to lenders.
