Job Description: The Wells Fargo HSBC Trade Bank, N.A. ("The Trade Bank") is the only nationally chartered bank focused on building relationships with companies involved in international trade. Wells Fargo is majority owner and retains management control.Responsible for servicing Trade Services clients with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The objective of this position is to ensure customer satisfaction by providing consultative services in the delivery of a wide range of complex Trade Service products. Responsibilities include working with multiple products and processing functions each of differing complexity. Duties include issuing, advising and amending of letters of credit, negotiation of L/C documents, processing documentary and direct collections in accordance with Trade Services standards. Assist Team Leader and Manager with training new staff or existing staff on new products or procedures, provide performance assessment on staff trainees, and coordinate and review workflow in the absence of Team Leader and Manager. Also accountable for identifying opportunities for additional product sales through client referrals, and making recommendation to changes in existing policies, practices and procedures. Requires full working knowledge of complex L/C structure, documentation, governing rules, standard and regulations, internal policies, international and domestic bank operations and credit risk implications. Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of recent letter of credit processing experience. - Must have current working knowledge (within last 1-2 years) of UCP500, ISBP and document examination under letters of credit. - Ability to type on keyboard by touch. - Demontrated excellent customer service skills, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. - Strong computer skills. - Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
