Telemarketer - Solicitor

Job Description:
This position willproduce appointments from cold-calling, calling seminar attendees, as well asconducting follow-up calls to direct marketing programs. The telemarketer willbe responsible for contacting and securing appointments with prospects in additionto setting up daily plans to meet personal performance objectives (90% phone time: 10% admin/planning ).
Duties:
· Prospecting for new clients by phone and mail
· Maintaining daily call log activity with results.
· Assisting with other marketing efforts to generate new prospectappointments, such as participating in seminars, client events or trade shows.
· Influences customersto meet with seasoned qualified California State licensed financial planners byfollowing a prepared sales script to give (no cost or obligation) service andproduct information.
· Maintainsconfidentiality of policies, procedures and information related to VSAand/or Prospect information.
Qualifications:
Strong experiencein outbound call center and heavy use of telephone and scripts, detail orientedand self-starter who can maintain call rate to achieve call time and contactobjectives, great communication skills with enthusiastic personality, computerliterate and proficient in standard Office applications Word, Excel andOutlook.
Experience:
Minimumof 2 years recent experience in telemarketing/appointment setting
