Job Description: Wells Fargo Internet Services Group (ISG) develops, implements and maintains software that supports eBanking and eCommerce solutions for Wells Fargo's 10 million online consumer and small business customers. Internet Services Development (ISD), the Technology group within ISG, is looking for a Technology Area Manager that will oversee the software maintenance and development of the Web Channel Management and Online Sales & Marketing development team. This encompasses the Wells Fargo public site and the Sales and Offers platforms. Responsibilities The Technology Area Manager will serve as the senior development manager for the Online Sales and Marketing platforms. This leader will have primary responsibility for the application development of key ISG initiatives around Marketing and Sales and will be responsible for all important software releases, maintenance and development decisions. This includes understanding key business drivers and priorities, developing a compelling vision for the platforms and defining and executing on a strategic roadmap that aligns with our ISG businesses. Leadership requirements include strategic planning, leading a high performing team, and partnering with key stakeholders in both business and technology units within ISG as well across Wells Fargo. S/he will report directly to the senior development manager in ISD. Specific activities include the following: – Provide a leadership role in the area of Internet Sales and Marketing software development to help maintain our competitiveness in the Internet channel. – Responsible for managing the software development of the Public site as well as the Sales and Marketing platforms of the Wells Fargo’s Online channel.– Responsible for the adherents to Wells Fargo policies and procedures for software development coding practices and security. – Provide for the maintaining of appropriate resources for the development teams; includes staffing allocations, performance management, career development and the creation of a positive, supportive and people-focused working environment.
