Location: Riverwoods, IL UNITED STATESFunctional Area: MarketingMin Pay Rate: $Max Pay Rate: $Pay Type: YearResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: The position has full accountability for designing, coding and manipulating portfolio campaigns for various business units. The incumbent serves as a data expert working closely with marketing and technology business partners to execute daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly marketing campaigns. Working independently, they design workflows for campaign execution, coding and extrapolating data from internal data marts and flat file data sources. Other responsibilities include report design, data element identification and propagation, offer management, contact management and acceptance testing. RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and code marketing campaigns using Affinium Campaign and SQL coding tools to extract and manipulate data. Manages both new campaign code development and existing campaign manipulation and maintenance. May use additional Affinium tools including Affinium Plan and Optimize. Primary responsibility will be handling the Usage and Retention campaign. Approximate campaign volume is 10-12 campaigns per month. Identify all necessary data elements for selection from appropriate tables and data sources. Test coding results in 10 and 100% environments. Work with Marketing partners to achieve desired campaign results. Develops waterfall reports and segmentation counts as well as other results to Marketing. Provides recommendations for improved campaign volume and results and identify any discrepancies. Work with technology partners to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and accurately. Validate results from nightly ETL (extract transform and load) processes to ensure accurate data loads. Identify any issues for escalation and correction. Continues to expand skills and knowledge. Assist with test case development and user acceptance testing for new data elements, database upgrades and tool enhancements. SKILLSRequired: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years direct marketing experience; 2-4 yrs. campaign management experience with Campaign Management Affinium Campaign software. Experience with cross functional workgroups. SQL experience required. Experience with relational databases preferred.
