Technical Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for ensuring the effective management of technical and business relationships across The Hartford’s enterprise, understanding the business and technical requirements, and ensuring that Infrastructure (ISD) deliverables meet the defined requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Communication with partners in order to facilitate planning, strategic decision-making and ultimately the most efficient use and deployment of ISD services for the enterprise Ensures that key activities and demand management decision criteria are considered on an enterprise level to facilitate sound decisions and ROI Work with the ISD organization to provide customers with proactive technology and capacity planning Technical liaison between line of business, architects, Infrastructure service areas, and vendors Consulting/ Facilitator for technical discussions within the phases of the project. Participant in review of technical design, including enterprise infrastructure, disaster recovery, strategies and imperatives Coordination of technical issue resolution between ISD service areas and LOB application architects Quality Assurance of ISD project deliverable documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:Seeking minimum 4 years broad IT experience, ideally including infrastructure Demonstrated experience in Project Management Lifecycle (requirements definition, negotiation, proposal and presentation development, QA) Ability to assess and review technical solutions and deliverables in accordance with business requirements, infrastructure capability and strategic directions Ability to balance customer needs to enterprise action Ability to successfully influence and negotiate Ability to interact and promote participation at all levels Ability to influence positive team results in a matrix organization structure Strong presentation skills Extensive communication skill, both written and oral Certifications such as A+ and /or MCSE, are a plus.
