Tax Specialist - Canadian Tax Reporting

We are looking for a high energy associate who wants to help establish a new team in Operations. The role of this team will be to create, implement and constantly look to improve our tax reporting processes to our clients in Canada and their tax authorities. The idea candidate will understand the concepts that support our books and records systems, how to build processes using technology systems and strong client service orientation.Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of plans to begin tax reporting for Canada in a self-clearing environment. Will require understanding or building an understanding of the tax reporting and withholding requirement for retirement accounts in Canada, learning the Broadridge systems that support tax reporting and working to design processes and system usage to support timely and accurate tax reporting to our clients and tax authorities in CanadaRequirements Experience with tax reporting or other process that requires understanding of systems. Must be able to work on a team to build processes that support system automation. Ideal candidate will have some experience with working with withholding, tax reporting to tax authorities as well as client reporting. Ability to work with a variety of associates in the business areas as well as technology. Customer service oriented, willing to think through ideas from the customer perspective. Knowledge and experience in Operations - understanding the concepts of batch/entry codes, books and records.
