Tactical Developer - Fixed Income

As an integral part of SIG's growing Fixed Income development team, you will work closely with mission-critical proprietary application systems. You will spend the majority of your time on the trading desk, supporting traders, trading assistants and operations staff. You will engage a variety of technologies including .NET, and Oracle. Essential Functions Develop and support proprietary application systems on the Fixed Income trading deskSpend majority of time on the trading desk, supporting traders, trading assistants and operations staff Program applications using a wide range of technologies primarily .NET Required/Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of software development experience in one or more of the following: C# .Net, ASP .NET, C++ or Java, PL/SQL, PerforceAbility to work in a fast paced environmentStrong Communication Skills (Written & Oral)Strong Problem Solving SkillsExcellent interpersonal Skills Excellent time management and organizational skillsDatabase experience, ideally PL/SQLStrong Math SkillsStrong interest in Finance and the Finance Industry, specifically Fixed IncomePrior experience working on a trading desk is a huge plusBS in computer science or a related field or the equivalent is required* Apply Salary/Benefits At SIG, our employees are our most valued assets.
