TDT-TD-Sr Doc Spec/Tech Writer
Description:Working with a team of writers and developers within a financial software development environment, creates end-user and technical documentation for credit card and payment systems software products. Ability to use hands-on product research, business requirements, functional specifications, and design and development documents to create and revise the documentation materials. The end-user documentation developed provides in-depth information on product functionality and the practical business application of those functions. The technical documentation provides information required by the data processing personnel who are responsible for the daily processing of the software products.Qualifications:This position researches and analyzes technical and business information through various company resources. This position is then responsible for translating that information into non-technical, user-friendly terminology and ensuring that the information has been reviewed for technical accuracy before release to clients. Minimum four years technical documentation or related experience. Must have good word processing, graphic design and desktop publishing skills. Demonstrated use of MS office products; knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat and graphics software a plus. Positive and professional attitude with the ability to perform under stress and deadline situations. Ability to handle multiple projects and set own priorities based on tasks to be accomplished. Exhibit effective oral and written communications in terms of format and organization, clarity and conciseness. Must be able to identify content resources, gather and organize information in written form.
