Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. The position is located in Vernon Hills, IL. The purpose of the department is coordination and implementation of administrative business processes to support projects and initiatives that affect one of the Service Centers of Allstate Financial. The scope of this job is to represent the Service Center(s) on projects facilitated by other Allstate Financial Areas of Responsibility or to facilitate Operations projects prioritized by the Service Center(s). The individual will be responsible for: Achieving results by leading cross functional teams on Operations projects. Representing the Service Center(s) on projects facilitated by other Areas of Responsibility within Allstate Financial. Act as a subject matter expert for Transcend, AWD, IW, AIMGA, OTIS as required. Comes prepared for meetings, supplies very timely meeting minutes; agenda’s & follows up on tasks assigned to her and the others on the project team Helps with training to prepare job aids and other training tools Participates in the meetings Assists in writing the statement of work Assists in developing the Statement of Requirements Reviews test plans; high level & Detailed Reviews statement of work Negotiates resolutions Looks for creative ways to work through the issues Writes Change Requests Sends out communication via the website and locally Participates in Post Implementation Reviews Verifies project Artifacts  The skills required are: Intermediate - Leadership skills Intermediate - Oral and Written Communication skills Intermediate - Organizational skills Intermediate - Relationship skills Intermediate - Project Management skillsExperience Required:  Minimum of 3 years of experience developing life or annuity product knowledge, life or annuity business process knowledge, and Transcend/AWD/IW processing knowledge for the Annuity Service Center or Customer Contact Center. Minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience.  Computer Proficiency:  Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint required.  Microsoft access/Microsoft Project preferred. Education:  College Degree  - PreferredMajor preference: N/A
