Sr Writer - Segmentation Marketing Description Description:Job Summary & MissionHighly creative, strategic communications expert for U.S. wealth management business of a leading global financial firm. Conceptual thinker and versatile in developing high-impact, results-driven sales and marketing communications.Key Responsibilities:- Create sales and marketing communications across a range of internal and external formats and channels, including - Develop ideas and produce content for an ongoing series of whitepapers and other thought-leadership and opinion papers for the UHNW segment. - Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing communications for the HNW segment across a range of internal and external channels and formats. - Help direct and develop content for HNW-focused magazine.- For each of four segments, help define positioning and shape content development guidelines for marketing and sales materials created in other divisions, including tone and style.- Contribute to idea generation and conceptual thinking for Segment Marketing initiatives.- Ensure all materials created are consistent with Segment Marketing strategy.- Collaborate with designers as part of creative team to problem solve, develop concepts, create new materials and refine existing pieces.- Build partnerships and help coordinate review process with Marketing Segment team, Product Marketing, Legal, Compliance and Series 24. - Maintain complete compliance files, both electronic and hard-copy, for pieces produced as needed.Qualifications:- 10 yrs of communications experience. - Bachelor degree in Marketing, communications or journalism or equivilent professional work experience with demonstrated success- General understanding of financial services industry and brokerage business required; direct financial services experience preferred but not necessary.- Working familiarity with financial products and services associated with investments and investment research preferred- Ability to write across a range of styles, from conceptual to journalistic.- Ability to collaborate creatively with designer(s) to develop compelling, benefit-driven communications.- Ability to translate marketing strategy into appropriate messaging and formats.- Ability to easily understand technical aspects of products and sophisticated financial strategies to create clear, accurate explanations.- Independent thinking as accountable team member who enjoys making individual contributions to complex, multi-dimensional projects.- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals of all professional levels and diverse experience.- Client service orientation and dedication to responsiveness.- Highly flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing timeframes and tight deadlines.- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPointSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe can offer you an exciting, fast-paced working environment, a culture of mutual respect and commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and the opportunity to play a vital role in our growth.Job Location: Weehawken (Home Office), NJJob Number: RUSAUBS224-611323Company URL: http://www.ubs.com/Company Profile:UBS is a leading global financial services firm.
