Sr. Web Application DeveloperThis position will be primarily responsible for designing and developing core front end components and Web applications using Java and J2EE technologies.Primary Skills*Design and develop UI components hosted in WebLogic Server using J2EE, JSP, Servlets, RIA technologies*Development experience using object oriented technologies and frameworks*Developing applications using RIA technologies such as AJAX, dojo etc. *Consume Web Services implemented in a WebLogic Server container to enable RIA front endsRequired Skills*7+ years of total software design and development experience.*5+ years of Java/J2EE experience with BEA WebLogic Server 8x or later*5+ years of UI design and development*Experience developing using Struts/Spring/AJAX is required*Knowledge of presentation technologies such as CSS, HTML, DHTML, JSP, javascript, xsl and xml.*Experience building and deploying web services in an J2EE environment*Experience in Hibernate/other ORM Tools is an advantage*Knowledge of GUI design patterns *Building J2EE webapps for a large user base preferably deployed on the world wide web*Solid knowledge in Java and J2EE development and tools*Solid knowledge of Java front end development methodologies/patterns*Experience with full SDLC, iterative methodologies, test-driven development*Hands-on experience with Weblogic 8.1 (or later) is desired*Experience with popular open-source tools and toolkits such as Eclipse, JUnit, Log4J, Spring, Struts, Axis, Ant/Maven.
