Sr. Software Engineer - C#, .NET

TITLE:   Senior Software EngineerLOCATION:  Rockville, MDDURATION:   4 monthsREQUIREMENTS AND SKILL SETS  Must be US Citizen, Perm Resident or EAD ONLY- NO CORP-to-CORP Candidate will need to have a very strong technical background and also 2 to 3 years experience as a Team Lead (experience with technical management of a team). Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 8 years experience. Project management experience in all phases of development life cycle. Detail-oriented and patience leading a diverse team. Development of web-based solutions. Candidate should have strong communication skills. Candidate must be a strong team player who is able to work well across all groups: project manager, development, database, product management, and quality assurance. Candidate must have strong problem solving and analytical skills .NET, C# are most important - candidates must be tested in these skills.  C++, COM, SQL Oracle experience Object Oriented Analysis/Design/Development UML / Modeling Tool Software Development Methodology Application profiling and tuning Design Patterns Windows 2000 Server / Windows 2003 Server / IIS XSLT, Javascript, CSS, FOP Remoting / Web Service JOB DESCRIPTION  Coordinate all phases of the software development cycle against published project plans. Follow the development life cycle for analysis, design, development, documentation, and testing.  Lead code reviews and ensuring quality of code at all times. Provide Technical Leadership through: technical oversight, understanding system architecture for all layers, participate in design sessions, contribute to functional specifications, collaborate in use case analysis, and develop test plans. Ability to provide estimations, risk assessments, and meet deliverables in a timely manner. Be able to produce technical design documentations using UML modeling. Ability to evaluate and assess design options. Be able to mentor and serve in a leadership role.
