Sr. Marketing Director (ICD)

Intersections Inc. is looking for a seasoned online marketing professional. This position is responsible for Intersections online direct to consumer sales efforts. The individual should have experience growing a business, managing growth and managing a large consumer business. You will be responsible for creating and executing a plan to drive triple digit growth in the online marketplace.

 

Accountabilities include:

 Hitting aggressive sales targetsEmail marketing managementManage pricing and promotion of Identity Guard productsManage the Identity Guard websiteOversee development and deployment of creative assets

 

The selected individual must be numbers driven and analytically focused and be able to work cross-functionally (legal, IT, product development, call center, etc.) to achieve goals.

 

 

Sales (Direct Customer Acquisition):Direct and manage online search engine marketing, both pay per click and SEOManage online affiliate marketing programsDevelop and manage online media programsImplement strategic business partner relationshipsManage inbound telemarketing team, driving improved call handling and close rates

 

Email Marketing

·  Drive new customer acquisition programs

·  Develop and execute upsell programs targeting trial and existing customers

·  Manage customer retention and communication programs

 

Products, Pricing and Promotions

·  Ensure successful product definition, integration and communication across website and online marketing programs

·  Deliver product training to inbound sales and support teams

·  Ongoing strategic product pricing and analysis

·  Develop promotional offers and pricing programs

 

Website Management

·  Manage all content on website, working closely with IT team to ensure performance and optimization

·  Ongoing creation of new, compelling content and graphics to drive repeat visitors and conversions

·  Implement new programs and initiatives on website

·  Deliver ongoing support of SEO strategy

 

Creative Content Development

·  Manage graphic designers (internal and outsourced) to ensure timely deliverables, prioritization and consistent deliverables across all channels

·  Drive development of new content, working closely with copy-writers to support email marketing and website communications

 

Strategic Business Analysis

·  Report and monitor customer acquisition by channel and product on a daily, weekly,

  monthly and quarterly

·  Analyze and optimize profitability of all customer acquisition channels

·  Develop and maintain sales forecast by product and channel, updated monthly

·  Closely monitor, report on, and analyze online customer behavior via web  

   analytics tool

·  Analyze customer behavior to optimize communication touch points and

  acquisition / upsell strategies

·  Develop business case for new initiatives or identified opportunities

 

Requirements:

·  10+ years marketing experience, at least 3 years online B2C marketing

·  Direct management experience of multi-person team and external vendors

·  Ability to interface and influence across multiple internal departments to achieve growth objectives

·  MBA preferred
