Software Sales Rep/Hunter Financial Services Industry

Pyxis Mobile, a leading provider of innovative wireless software for the Financial Services industry, is looking for aggressive Software Sales Representatives with experience in the Enterprise Software and Financial Services industries to sell industry-leading wireless software with extremely high growth potential. Responsibilities include all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, proposing, and closing. We are looking for "A" players to exceed customer expectations and be instrumental in the continued success of the company.

Success in this role is defined by achieving the assigned bookings goal for the territory.  Through effective relationships and face-to-face sales calls in the assigned territory, you will sell multiple products and services into existing and new accounts.  There is typically a high level of travel in this position.

 

Key Responsibilities Achieve annual sales goal through the direct sale of wireless enterprise software solutions to customers in the assigned territory Identify high potential sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting and lead follow-up

· Develop sales strategies which maximize existing relationships and cross sell multiple products across multiple business lines within the installed base of customers

· Understand and articulate Pyxis Mobile’s value proposition to C-level executives within the assigned territory

· Negotiate with prospects and clients on a variety of business, financial, and delivery-related issues

· Communicate on a regular basis with manager, provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the sales tracking system

· Assist other sales and sales support representatives as needed

· Provide ongoing competitive and market feedback to the company to inform product development and company positioning

· Travel is required

 

 

Experience and Skills Required

· Experience (5+ years) prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing business with complex sales cycles in the Financial Services industry

· A demonstrated track record of over-performance relative to assigned goals and company peers, as well as a proven track record of progressive accomplishments within your field

· Experience directly selling enterprise software solutions into the Financial Services industry

· Broad knowledge of the Investment Management Industry including:  business challenges, financial products, and financial product distribution

· Excellent knowledge of company's products and software pricing practices

· General understanding of key technology concepts required to sell complex solutions to IT professionals

· Ability to clearly understand and articulate business issues and solutions and negotiate at a senior management level

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong prospecting, organizational, presentation, and negotiating skills

· Extremely strong drive and self motivation to over achieve goals

· Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team

· BA/BS or equivalent
