PIMCO Shareholder Services is responsible for operational oversight of PIMCO’s US and Non-US mutual funds as well as our hedge funds.  Departmental tasks include cash flow reporting to PIMCO’s trade floor, new account set up and maintenance in PIMCO’s CRM system, Anti-Money Laundering oversight, Anti-Market Timing enforcement and vendor oversight for the Fund’s transfer agents and other service providers.  The group handles complex processing involving multiple departments, internal systems, and external service providers across many time zones.

Responsibilities
•Interact with the Funds’ Transfer Agents, trust companies, banks and dealers regarding shareholder accounts
•Communicate trade flow activity to the trade floor via the cash desk
•Manage various projects related to process improvements, procedures and systems development
•Ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural guidelines
•Establish and maintain accounts in Client Relationship Management system
•Manual and programmed uploads to internal and external systems
•Coordinate new fund launches
•Develop reports for PIMCO funds, the Boards, Legal, Account Management, and Portfolio Management

Requirements
•Accuracy and attention to detail: This position deals with large amounts of financial risk on a daily basis
•Strong computer skills (particularly in Excel) and the ability to learn multiple proprietary computer systems
•Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
•Ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
•Learn on the job by shadowing senior team members and asking effective questions
•Experience with data mining and report production a plus

Qualifications
•Mutual fund operations, transfer agency or broker/dealer back-office experience
•4-year college degree
•Advanced degree a plus
•Series 6 or 7, and 63 a plus
