Senior IT Project Manager - Financial Systems
The position reports directly to the Director of Program Management: Finance.
This is a leadership position in a large matrix organization. The scope of the position includes management as well as hands on execution.
The candidate must be willing and able to configure, check master data, execute integration testing and, write functional specifications if required.
The main scope of the position is finance deployment leader allocated to a CPS deployment project.
The Senior IT Project Manager - Financial Systems (SPM) provides SAP FICO project leadership implementation and the configuration expertise required to effectively implement the SAP FI/CO modules at the ECC 6.0 release level
The SPM should have configuration expertise in the ECC 6.0 New General Ledger Functionality (a plus)
The SPM will work within the Common Process and Solutions (CP/S) SAP Program, leading and supporting multiple implementation streams from a finance perspective
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
Finance Deployment Leader for a single deployment track (management of resources, deliverables)Configuring the SAP system to meet the business requirements for finance as requiredSupporting other functional teams in the realization of the global design model (supporting blueprint extensions)Training end users on SAP functionality and transferring knowledge of the global design to the business usersCreation of functional specifications for interfaces and enhancementsManagement of off-shore/near shore/on shore consulting resources associated with deployment trackThe SPM will provide leadership, guidance and mentoring of other team members within the FICO spacePreference for candidate to be located near a hub site (Golden Valley, Minnesota-Morristown, NJ, Phoenix Arizona) other areas within the US may be considered
Position requires approx. 50-65% travel

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Candidate must be an overall FICO generalist. They should have exposure and understanding of a majority of the following areas: FI-New GL 5.0 functionality, AR, AP, make to stock product costing within discrete mfg environment, make to order and make to stock product costing for variant configuration, general CO including internal projects, internal orders, activity allocations, assessments, settlements etc., cost based PA functionality, FSCM, AM, report painter, LSMW, ABAP query, billable projects, service order functionality. (Not all areas required)
Required Skills:
