Assist manager with review, recommendations and analysis of practices, policies and procedures for portfolio valuation. Manage on-going documentation efforts with regard to valuation results and policies. Enhance and prepare monthly reporting of pricing efforts. Partner with investment systems on implementation, testing and documenting of Golden Source tool and other improvements for valuation process. Work with other areas in Investment Operations to integrate all valuation processes. Work with Investment Operations and Corporate Accounting Research on implementation of fair value accounting (i.e., FAS 157, FAS 159, etc…). Required Skills: Advanced – Analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced – Securities valuation; pricing expertise (knowledge of FAS 157 a plus) Advanced – Leadership and communication skills; position requires cross-functional interaction Advanced – Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience Required: 7-10 years financial experience, along with 3-5 years experience directly related to pricing of investments. Computer Proficiency: (computer skills needed to do the job) Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. MicroStrategy, Crystal and Golden Source software not required but a plus. Education: Master / MBA strongly preferred with a concentration in business of finance.
