Senior Compliance Officer

The Compliance Division of Edward Jones seeks a qualified individual to serve as a senior compliance officer in the Headquarters Compliance, Communications Review and Surveillance Department. Duties include reviewing and approving firm advertisements and communications, providing education and guidance to firm audiences on internal and "for public use" communications, and serving as a compliance communications resource for firm business areas in need of those services.If you have at least three years of legal or securities compliance experience, have knowledge of FINRA, MSRB and SEC communications with the public rules and have strong written and verbal communication skills, this challenging and rewarding position may be ideal for you.Responsibilities Review, edit and approve "for public use" firm & vendor marketing materials and communications.Create resources for, and educate firm audiences on guidelines and risks associated with creating "for public use" materials.Establish and maintain relationships with regulators, determine materials in need of regulatory filing, and follow through with appropriate filings, based on needs.Review internal use communications & materials for compliance appropriateness, provide feedback and take appropriate action as needed.Communicate information on current regulatory trends and issues to appropriate firm audiences and create interpretive resources based on current and impending trends and issues.Serve as firm and compliance division "communications with public" subject matter expert on firm projects, programs and initiatives. Requirements Required Licenses include Series 7, 66 (or 63), 24, 9, & 10. Series 53 and insurance licenses required within six months of hire. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
