Senior Client Relationship Manager

The Senior Client Relationship Manager is responsible for strengthening the organization's relationships with its existing institutional clients.  This position works with various departments in order to align resources and provide the best experience to the client.

Primary ResponsibilitiesExecutes a proactive, creative, and on-going contact initiative intended to identify and satisfy clients' needs. Acts as a liaison and resource on behalf of Calamos' assigned Institutional clients, having a command of the day-to-day administrative needs of the assigned clients and ensuring their completion in a timely manner. Capable of resolving the most complex administrative issues. Coordinates with portfolio management, product specialists/portfolio managers and client service staff to organize all marketing, sales, and support services for assigned accounts. Identifies and promotes investment product cross selling. Maintains client corporate intelligence. Develops and documents standard operating policies and procedures while looking for continual improvement in quality, delivery, availability and overall department service. Maintains responsibility for client reviews, strategy updates and independently serves as proxy for Account Manager through frequent client meetings/discussions covering investment strategy, account performance, new products and market developments. Performs ad hoc reports as requested by clients and management. Handles related duties as assigned.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related field. MBA or CFA candidacy encouraged. 7 - 10+ years of investment services experience with a good understanding of the investment business. Must have strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have good interpersonal skills with a team and service orientation; ability to interact with all levels in the organization. Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, deadline driven department. PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other application applications.
