Senior Analyst - Product Development
Provide technical leadership including designing databases/reports/spreadsheets which communicate results to internal clients. Apply advanced financial techniques to analyze, understand and communicate the competitive forces & dynamics shaping our industry models.
1. Analyze and make recommendations on external analysis including macro environment, economic conditions, social issues, industry and market trends, customer attitudes, demographics and other industry developments
2. Evaluate and analyze competitors’ prices, products, sales, distribution and marketing methods, initiatives, trends,
strategies, etc.
3. Design databases and financial models
4. Compose and communicate statistical reports after analyzing results and interpreting variances
5. Develop tools to answer inquiries from other business units
Bachelors degree with emphasis on analytical course work – mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
Extensive spreadsheet & database software experience
Estimated % annual travel: 0-10%
Expert proficiency for Microsoft office products – Excel, Word, Access, Power Point
Expert proficiency with illustration systems & financial analysis software
